Our business has evolved from the history of Peter Baine Ltd in 1898 a General Merchant in the area that was appointed area agent for New Zealand Insurance. Don and Val Towes joined Peter Baine Ltd in 1954 then acquired the insurance business in 1973. Today, Paul and Karen Towes continue the family tradition and operate as Towes Insurance Brokers Ltd supported by their team of incredible insurance professionals. Today we operate a modern insurance business, utilising only trusted insurance providers, the latest technology and a distributed workforce based around New Zealand. We are agile and move with the ever-changing needs of our clients and pride ourselves on our claims management service.
